據 BBC 昨日（3 月 26 日）報導，哈里王子（Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex）辭去了其創辦的慈善機構 Sentebale 的贊助人（patron）職務。他與另外一名創辦人萊索托（Lesotho）王子 Prince Seeiso 以及一眾受托人一起辭職，並發聲明指這是由於受託人及董事會主席 Dr Sophie Chandauka 之間發生的糾紛。
哈里王子於 2006 年為紀念其母親戴安娜王妃與亦曾經歷喪母之痛的 Prince Seeiso 共同創立了 Sentebale，以幫助非洲南部的愛滋病毒及愛滋病患者和他們的子女，而 Sentebale 在萊索托的語言是解作「不要忘記我」（“forget me not”）的意思。
在哈里王子和 Prince Seeiso 的共同聲明中，他們稱 Dr Sophie Chandauka 被要求辭職後「把該機構告上法庭以保留其自願性質的職位」（”sued the charity to remain in this voluntary position”）令一眾受託人與她的關係「破裂且無法修復」（”broke down beyond repair”）。前受託人 Timothy Boucher、Mark Dyer、Audrey Kgosidintsi、Dr Kelello Lerotholi、Damian West 亦表示辭職的決定「絕對是令人沮喪的」（”nothing short of devastating”）。
Dr Sophie Chandauka 則為自己辯護稱，她已向英國慈善委員會（Charity Commission）舉報了這些受託人，並「揭露」（”blown the whistle”）了濫用權力、霸凌、性別歧視和種族歧視等問題。慈善委員會表示正在進行調查。
她補充：「這個世界上有些人表現得好像自己凌駕於法律之上，凌虐他人，然後扮演受害者的角色，利用他們所鄙視的媒體來傷害那些有勇氣挑戰他們行為的人。」（”There are people in this world who behave as though they are above the law and mistreat people, and then play the victim card and use the very press they disdain to harm people who have the courage to challenge their conduct.”）
Dr Chandauka 是一名企業財務律師，並曾於摩根士丹利、Meta 和維珍金融等公司工作，並於 2021 年因其在商界多元方面的貢獻而獲得 MBE 勳章。
