團體稱「劫富濟貧」於超市盜竊 警方今拘捕 6 女 1 男

據 BBC 報導，英國警方於今日（4 月 19 日）以串謀盜竊（conspiracy to steal）拘捕六名女子及一名男子，被捕人士疑計劃在包括貴價商店及大型超市在內的地方盜竊。

案件與一個名為 Take Back Power 的團體有關，該組織自稱為「非暴力公民抗命團體」（”a nonviolent civil-resistance group”），並主張在從大型企業手上取回必需品，再分發予有需要的社區人士。（原句：”taking back essential items and groceries from stores owned by corporations and billionaires, and helping to give back these necessities to the local communities who need support the most”）。Take Back Power 表示其支持者曾於 3 月「未付款就離開商店」（”left the shops without paying”），再將偷來的物資捐贈予食物銀行。警方相信相關人士計劃在全國多地進行類似行動，將貨品偷走並重新分發到其他地方。

大曼徹斯特警方（Greater Manchester Police）強調，此類行為屬有組織犯罪，絕對不能容忍，並正與倫敦都市警部（Metropolitan Police）合作展開行動。
